A round-up of recent Fax.Plus and Sign.Plus updates, from multi-page scanning and email attachments for healthcare accounts to more context in your signing and API workflows.
Recent updates make it easier to prepare documents, keep your team informed, and connect Fax.Plus and Sign.Plus to the way you already work. Here’s what’s changed.
Scan longer documents in one continuous workflow on your iPhone. The built-in Fax.Plus scanner now supports continuous multi-page scanning, and the previous 10-page scanning limit has been removed.
The improved scanner is also available to HIPAA-enabled accounts, so you can prepare your documents directly in Fax.Plus without switching to another scanning app.
Fax.Plus accounts with Advanced Security Controls can now choose to include fax attachments in sent and received fax notification emails. This gives teams another way to work with their documents without opening each fax in the app.
Attachments require your organization’s consent and secure email delivery. Notifications without attachments remain the default, and a secure link to open the fax in Fax.Plus is still available. You can manage the options in your email notification settings on the web.
The Fax.Plus API now lets you retrieve and update Shared Notes, bringing team-visible context into your existing fax workflows. An integration can add a processing note or retrieve the latest note without someone having to make the same update manually in the web app.
You can also retrieve the Friendly Name assigned to a fax number, making it easier to show recognizable labels in your own tools instead of relying on the number alone.
Starting a signature request from a template should give you the same control over supporting documents as preparing one from scratch. On Sign.Plus web, Collect Attachments is now available in the Use Template flow.
You can review, add, edit, or remove attachment requirements before sending, including whether a file is required or optional. Existing requirements stay linked to the appropriate recipient. Available on Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans.
Recipients can now add a short, optional reason when declining a signature request or reassigning it to someone else in Sign.Plus on the web and iOS.
The reason is included in the relevant email notifications and recorded in the audit trail, giving everyone more context for the next step without a separate follow-up message.
